Police call for witnesses, dashcam footage over hit-run that killed cyclist
Police are calling out for witnesses three months after a hit-run which killed a cyclist on a major road in southeast Melbourne.
No charges have been laid over the crash that killed Sole Manapori, a beloved uncle.
Mr Manapori, 58, was riding his bike along Hallam Road in Hampton Park when he was struck by a red Holden Cruze sedan at 4.15am on January 6.

He was crossing at a pedestrian crossing when he was hit by the Holden, which was running a red light.
The car was found burnt out in Glen Waverley less than an hour later.
The car had been stolen from a home in Doncaster in the past day.
Police spoke to a 29-year-old man from Endeavour Hills on January 7, but he was released without charge.

Detective Sergeant Peter Romanis said road safety can impact any one at any time.
"Sole was simply on his way to work. He was not doing anything wrong and he never made it there," he said.
"We believe someone has information that can assist in providing an answer to his family, who are left asking themselves why they will never get to see him again."

Detectives are now calling for any witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
"I encourage those people with information to consider how they would feel if it was their loved one killed while innocently riding their bicycle to work," Det Sgt Romanis said.
"We are confident that we have found the car involved but we need the public's assistance to establish who was in it that morning."
