Hair ripped out in Melb sex worker attack
A teenage sex worker was threatened with a knife and had chunks of hair ripped out during an attack in Melbourne.
A man picked up the 19-year-old woman and drove her to a multi-level car-park where the attack occurred.
He threatened her with a knife then punched her to the head and ripped out some of her hair.
Police are hunting for the owner of a Hyundai Excel who picked up the woman in St Kilda between 8.30pm (AEDT) and 9pm on December 9.
The man, described as solidly built and aged in his 40s, fled from the Port Melbourne car park in the vehicle which was believed to be missing the front left hub-cap.
The Parkville woman was taken to The Alfred hospital for treatment.
