Gunman on the run after shooting man three times at his Perth home

A gunman is on the loose and a man is in hospital, following a shooting in Perth this morning.
A 25-year-old man was in his garage at his home in the suburb of Westminster this morning when he was approached by another man.
The man drew a gun and shot the 25-year-old in the ankle.

The victim was show twice more in the hip as he tried to escape the gunman by running into his house.
Neighbours told 9 News they heard what sounded like 4 to 5 gunshots just after 8pm last night but were too scared to leave their homes.
The 25-year-old was rushed to the Royal Perth Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.
His home is under police guard as authorities continue to search for the gunman.
