Greens against SBS ad changes
AAP
The Greens will oppose any move to give public broadcaster SBS more flexibility to run paid advertising.
A Greens party room meeting on Monday has resolved to vote against a government bill that would ease the maximum limit on prime-time ads, arguing it is further commercialisation of SBS.
The move would have allowed the broadcaster to offset government funding cuts with more ad revenue.
