Traffic backed up more than four kilometres on M7 through Cecil Hills due to grass fire

A grass fire is causing heavy delays for motorists on the M7 through Cecil Hills in Sydney's west.
One northbound lane is closed near Cowpasture Road.
One lane remains open but traffic is heavy and is queued back more than four kilometres.

Emergency crews are on the site working to extinguish the fire.
All southbound lanes remain open.
