What Aussies searched for the most this year, according to Google
From sports events to pop stars, big news to puzzle solutions, Aussies never hesitate to do a Google search.
The internet giant has now revealed it's top trending searches names and phrases of 2024.
"Australia's Year in Search offers a fascinating snapshot of our nation's interests and evolving culture," Camilla Ibrahim from Google Australia said.
"It shows Aussies are globally aware, passionate about sport, curious, creative and up for a challenge."
10. Wheelchair tennis Paralympics
There was one sport in particular Google users were keen to find out about at Paris 20204: Wheelchair tennis.

Weekes and Anderson Parker played doubles and said they were "proud" despite being knocked out by Brazil.
Overall, Australia won 63 medals at the Paralympics.
"How to watch Olympics Australia" was the top 'how to' phrase internet users asked.
9.Ticketek Marketplace
With huge stars including Taylor Swift and Coldplay performing in Australia in 2024, it's little surprise this resale site was a popular search.
8. T20 World Cup
Cricket fans are a dedicated bunch and were keen to keep up with the T20 World Cup scores.
Pictures is India celebrating with the winners trophy after defeating South Africa in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Barbados.
Meanwhile, Australia's women's team won their competition.
7. Copa America
The hugely popular South American football competition had fans gripped.
It was won by defending champions Argentina, who defeated Colombia 1-0.
6. Connections
Forget Wordle, it was all about another New York Times puzzle this year, Connections.
Googler's were keen to play it and also get tips on solving it.
5. Taylor Swift
It was the year of Taylor Swift, as her Era's tour continued to circle the globe, including visiting Sydney and Melbourne.
The pop queen boosted local economies to the tune of millions as she took over stadiums.
Off the stage, fans continued their fascination with her relationship with sports star, Travis Kelce.
4. Liam Payne
Former One Direction singer Liam Payne's death after falling from a hotel balcony in October shocked pop fans.
Google searches for his name spiked as the story unfolded.
3. Euros
Another sporting event, this time the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament.
English fans across Australia were shattered after their team was defeated by Spain in the final in July in Germany.
2. Olympic medal tally
Aussies were gripped by Paris 2024, and wanted to know the medal tally. Pictured are Emma McKeon - Australia's most decorated swimmer- and some of her teammates.
Australia came forth on the medal table, behind the USA, China and Japan.
We won 53 medals including 18 golds.
Meanwhile breakdancing sensation Raygun was the third most searched for Aussie person.
The Olympics were the most searched for sport's event.
