A good Samaritan, who tried to intervene in an argument between a man and a woman on a Gold Coast street on Saturday morning, has been stabbed.
At 4am, the 26-year-old approached the arguing couple on Brett Avenue, Labrador, when a 44-year-old man stabbed the good Samaritan who was taken to Gold Coast Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.
