At only six months and nine days old, little “Parks” can’t yet walk, but he can most certainly wakeboard.

Parker has been crowned the world’s youngest wakeboarder, after carving it up with his father at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast over the weekend.

Ski boat and wakeboard dealer Nautique Central’s Gold Coast branch manager, Sam Greenland, captured the little boy’s talents on video and said Parker’s father had started training his son early.

“Tim has been training Parks since pretty much birth – hanging a wakeboard handle above his cot,” Mr Greenland told 9NEWS.

“He had a smile on his face, he was loving it.”

Parker claimed the record from American bub Zyla St Onge, who was just 17 days older.
