Gold Coast residents make citizen's arrest after alleged crash

A group of Gold Coast residents have sprung into action and made a citizen's arrest of four teenage boys after spotting a car allegedly driving recklessly.
Locals saw the car in Helensvale before it allegedly crashed into a camper van and parked car along the street.

The group held onto the teens until police arrived. 9News
The residents feared someone could be injured and managed to contain the teens until police arrived.
Two of the teens have since been charged.
