Hundreds take to the water in the Gold Coast for latest tribute to 'Chumpy' Pullin
Hundreds of people have taken to the water this morning at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast to honour late Olympic snowboarder Alex "Chumpy" Pullin.
Surfers paddled out in memory of the 32-year-old who tragically died in a spear fishing accident on Wednesday.

Chumpy was diving alone when he was found unconscious on the sea floor without an oxygen mask on the Gold Coast.
Since the tragedy, tributes have poured in for the beloved athlete who is being remembered as a "legend".
A second paddle out will be planned for NSW tomorrow morning, at North Narrabeen Beach in Sydney's north.
