George Clooney’s surprising response when asked about Brangelina split
George Clooney was apparently unaware his close friends Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had separated.
Approached by a reporter earlier today, Clooney seemed shocked when asked about the split.
“You’re friends with both of them, (what are) your thoughts, any thoughts?” the CNN reporter asked the famed actor.
“Who is that?” Clooney said, appearing to have no idea what the reporter was talking about.
“Angelina and your friend Brad,” the reporter said.
“What happened?” a confused Clooney asked before the reporter informed him Jolie had filed for divorce.
“I didn’t know that,” Clooney admitted, looking genuinely shocked.
“I feel very sorry,” he said.
“That’s a sad story about a family, I’m very sorry to hear that.”
Clooney and Pitt have become close friends over the years, acting beside each other several times, including in the popular Ocean’s franchise.
