Gay marriage bill gets more debate time

More time has been given for debate on proposed laws to allow same-sex marriage.
Parliament's selection committee, which sets the program for private member's business, has scheduled further debate on the bill for September 14.
The bill, moved by Liberal MP Warren Entsch, has cross-party support but coalition MPs have been denied a free vote on it.
