AFL legend Gary Ablett Snr and disgraced agent Ricky Nixon reportedly brawled in a Melbourne laneway yesterday afternoon.

Police were forced to attend the scene when the pair, who have been housemates in recent weeks, came to blows on Kyme Place near Nixon's Port Melbourne home, 3AW reports.

"Ablett was the clear winner on points," the radio station said.

Ablett, 52, had been staying with Nixon, 51, while his former agent negotiated a tell-all interview with television networks for the former AFL star.

Ablett has now moved out and the future of the interview is unknown, the radio station said.

The pair are yet to speak publicly about the incident, but last night Nixon tweeted: "1. Crap. 2. Crap... next question."

"I told him in no uncertain terms if he didn't clean up his room he is grounded #SuchANaughtyBoy," Nixon wrote.

This morning he tweeted his enjoyment of watching Ablett twice going unnoticed by the media as he walked past on his way to buy milk.

"Still got the sidestep," he said.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Clair White told The Age police were called to a dispute between two men in Port Melbourne about 1.25pm.

"Police spoke to all parties, who declined any further police action," she said.
