Driver freed after ute 'completely crushed' in Sydney truck crash
A ute driver has been taken to hospital after a garbage truck rolled on top of his car in Sydney's north.
The truck, which had been carrying vegetation rolled on Barrenjoey Road, Bilgola, just after 7am today.
The ute was trapped beneath it with the driver, aged 30, unable to get free.

A crane was used to lift the truck off the ute after about two hours, giving paramedics full access to the driver, who was seen to be moving.
When he was finally freed, he was treated for minor abrasions to the head, neck, shoulder and legs before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
The truck driver, a 26-year-old man, was uninjured but taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

NSW Ambulance Inspector David Lambert praised those involved in the rescue.
"The ute was completely crushed and the driver trapped in the vehicle," he said.
"It was quite a while before we could get full access, but luckily paramedics managed to administer fluids and pain relief while the truck was being removed.
He said it was a "miracle" the driver had only suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, and have appealed for anybody with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
