Fuel thieves nabbed in Perth

Two men who allegedly stole about $12,000 worth of fuel from a petrol station in Perth's east have been charged with a string of offences.

West Australian police said the men, aged 36 and 30, stole more than 7000 litres of diesel from a Maddington petrol station on two separate occasions in the past week.

Officers also seized more than $30,000 worth of stolen goods, including an electric generator and trailer.

Both men were charged with multiple counts of stealing, and the 36-year-old also faces drug-related charges.

They were bailed to appear the Armadale Magistrates Court on June 27.
