From bowling to Bollywood, former Aussie cricketer Brett Lee takes on a new challenge
Former Australian cricketer Brett Lee is known for bowling the odd maiden over, but now he's about to do so on-screen rather than on-field.
Lee is the male lead in a new romantic comedy being shot in Sydney, one that has a potential audience of more than one billion people both here and in India.
Bollywood film Unindian is also being used to promote tourism in Australia.
The film is a joint Indian/Australian production and dovetails into a tourism campaign now running in the sub-continent.
The ad series is called Jhappi Time, meaning a familiar hug or renewal of acquaintance, and has driven an increase in tourism from India since screening in February of more than 20 percent.
Unindian is due for release mid-2015.
