A fresh allegation has been made against the veteran broadcaster Alan Jones, with The Sydney Morning Herald reporting a 17-year-old schoolboy went to police six years ago with allegations of indecent assault.

Jones, who was 75 at the time, was alleged in the report to have indecently assaulted the 17-year-old boy, kissing him at his home in the Southern Highlands.

The report also claims the boy and his mother reported the alleged incident to NSW Police, who investigated the matter.

The accusations come a week after an initial investigation by the newspapers alleging the long time radio host groped multiple young men during his career.

The 82-year-old vehemently denies all the claims including the most recent one, and has threatened legal action.

In a statement to 9News, NSW police said: "Sex Crimes Squad were made aware early Friday afternoon that a previous [alleged] victim of a matter reported to police in 2017 may be willing to engage further with police.

"As there is no victim willing to progress a police complaint at this time, it is correct that there is no current investigation."
