French woman pinned by tree in Sydney caravan park

A French tourist is in a Sydney hospital after being rescued from a camper van that was crushed by a falling tree.
The 27-year-old woman was with four other women in the caravan in Lane Cove Reserve Tourist Park in Sydney's north when the eucalyptus tree was toppled by strong winds at about 2.30am.
The woman was trapped in the caravan and her thighs were pinned by the fallen tree, while the other four women escaped.

Emergency services worked to rescue her for 90 minutes before she was freed.
She was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
The other four women were treated for shock, and one was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
