Popular artist and producer announces more Aussie shows after surprise arrival

Popular British artist and producer Fred Again has announced more shows in Sydney and Melbourne after his surprise arrival in Australia. 

He will be playing three consecutive shows at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena starting March 4, before playing another three the following week at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena from March 12.

He will also have a pop-up show on March 9 in the Gold Coast with the location still to be confirmed.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale tomorrow at 9am AEDT for Melbourne, 10am AEST for Gold Coast and 1pm AEDT for Sydney.

The English producer let his fans know he was in Australia with a social media post on top of the Harbour Bridge yesterday, with a link to purchase tickets to a show at the Opera House that same night. 

At one point, there were more than 100,000 fans in line for tickets and the allocation was quickly exhausted. 

He is known to abruptly drop surprise shows in various countries, with all of them quickly selling out.
