Franklin questioned over multi-car smash
AFL star Lance "Buddy" Franklin has crashed into four parked cars in Sydney's east.
But police have ruled out alcohol as a factor in the smash.
Rose Bay resident Craig McDonald posted pictures of the crash scene on Twitter after spotting the Sydney Swans' $10 million recruit speaking to police.
"Buddy Franklin has just totalled three cars on New South Head road outside my place," he wrote on Wednesday night.
Franklin was uninjured and was allowed to leave the scene, but all five vehicles involved in the crash were damaged.
"Inquiries are continuing after a car hit a number of parked vehicles in Rose Bay tonight," a NSW Police spokesman told AAP.
"The driver of the Jeep was a 27-year-old Bondi man."
The spokesman said the Bondi man was the sole occupant of the 4WD and underwent a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
Fairfax Media reports the Jeep Grand Cherokee that Franklin was driving belonged to his girlfriend, model Jesinta Campbell, who is a brand ambassador for the car maker.
Pictures from the crash scene show the Jeep smashed head-on before it was towed.
Sydney Swans representatives did not return phone calls on Wednesday night.
