Video of Melbourne servo robbery shows attendant marched inside by bandits armed with box cutter and screwdriver

Footage has emerged showing the terrifying armed robbery of a service station in Melbourne’s northwest by two masked bandits.

The Caltex worker is seen being marched inside by the pair, and threatened with a box cutter and screwdriver, during the robbery last month.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was watching petrol pumps when he saw the men approaching.

Fearing for his life, he tried to run back inside the store, but the thieves struck.

The man was forced to empty the cash register, and the bandits fled with up to $400 in cash, as well as cigarettes, a bottle of Coke and some energy drinks.

The offenders fled in a dark coloured sedan believed to be an early model Honda Accord, which was spotted driving west along Maribyrnong Road.

Police say the robbery was well-planned, with the culprits possibly having watched the attendant for some time.

The robbery took place on February 15, and police are still searching for two men described as being African in appearance, aged in their late teens to early 20s, both with a slim build and of about 167-172cm in height.

Police said the victim is back at work and coping “as best he can” with the incident.
