Five-year-old boy struck by car

A child has been struck by a car on the northern beaches.
Emergency services were called to the Spit West Cark Park, just before the Spit Bridge between Mosman and Manly.
The accident happened at around 10am.

The five-year-old boy is conscious, breathing and is suffering from upper leg injuries.
Aerial footage of the scene shows several people, including some children, standing around the boy as they were moved to a CareFlight helicopter.
More than ten emergency service workers were assisting at the scene.
