Five charged with assaulting lifeguard at Melbourne pool
Five people have been charged with assaulting a teenage lifeguard at a Melbourne swimming pool last month.
It's alleged a 19-year-old male lifeguard on duty at the pool was attacked by a group of youths about 5.50pm at the Park Road pool in Narre Warren on Sunday, January 19.
He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in hospital.

On Sunday, police carried out search warrants at properties in Cranbourne North and Narre Warren South.
A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, both from Cranbourne North, were arrested and charged with affray and assault.
They were bailed to appear in court on May 23.
Two 17-year-old boys from Casey were charged with affray and assault and bailed to appear before court on March 3.

A 15-year-old boy from Casey was released pending enquiries.
Yesterday afternoon, an 18-year-old Cranbourne North man self-presented at a police station.
He was charged with affray and assault and was bailed to appear in court on May 23.
