Firefighters battle Melbourne house blaze

Firefighters are battling a house fire in Melbourne's outer suburbs with a woman treated for smoke inhalation.

The CFA said seven vehicles - four CFA and three MFB - were called to the home on Botany Lane, Taylors Hill at 2.30pm.

Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullens said the woman was treated at the scene and was the sole occupant in the house.
