Melb recycling depot blaze under control
AAP
About 65 firefighters have put out a blaze at a recycling depot in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
Twenty MFB units took about half an hour to contain the fire which had spread from the building to pallets of plastic stacked against the structure on Maffra St in Coolaroo.
Calls were made from numerous businesses in the area and a hose layer, ultra large pumper and supply of firefighting foam were ordered.

An MFB spokesman said crews were called just after 7pm on Sunday and that a security guard was on site at the time but was uninjured.
Residents were told to expect road closures.
Crews were to remain on scene with paramedics on hand to monitor their welfare.
