House gutted by fire in Sydney

A home has been gutted by a blaze in Sydney's west early this morning.

Nobody was at the house when the fire started about 4.30am and nobody was injured.

Four fire crews attended the scene and extinguished the blaze within in hour.

The investigation into the fire is underway but it is believed it was sparked by faulty solar panels.
