Fire destroys historic NSW hotel
AAP
A fire has destroyed a historic pub northwest of Sydney.
Firefighters worked to control the blaze after it broke out at the Jolly Frog Hotel in Windsor about 10pm (AEDT) on Monday.
Surrounding roads were closed for several hours, with the blaze prevented from spreading to neighbouring buildings, police say.

But the hotel was destroyed.
Crime scene officers and fire investigators have been unable to enter the site so far, however it is hoped it will be deemed safe later on Tuesday morning.
An investigation into the fire will then begin.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Windsor Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
