A small black kitten has been plucked to safety from a burning Rebels motorcycle gang clubhouse in Dandenong, in Melbourne’s south-east.

Firefighters were called to the suspicious blaze at the England Street clubhouse after 4am, and quickly brought it under control.

There were no injuries in the fire, however the factory has been completely destroyed.

Nearby neighbours say they haven’t caused any trouble before.

Investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.

The fire comes just two days after properties in the same region were raided by police.

Four people were arrested and drugs were seized when officers swooped on the four properties in Melbourne's southeast on Wednesday.

The raids were in response to an affray between Rebels members, and members of a rival bikies gang.

Members of the Echo Taskforce, designed to look into bikie-related activity, have been on the scene to investigate.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
