A Ferrari driver has lost his car for a month after being caught speeding at 233km/h in northeast Victoria.

The 47-year-old from NSW is set to be charged after he was stopped by police in a 110km/h zone at Wangaratta yesterday afternoon.

He was travelling with a 36-year-old woman, and will have to pay $1325 to get back the impounded car.
