Fears of more chemo under-dosing in NSW

NSW Labor is demanding a special inquiry into chemotherapy under-dosing over fears there may be more patients who were given incorrect dosages.

Dr John Grygiel, who underdosed more than 100 patients in Sydney and the state's central west, worked at Newcastle Calvary Mater hospitals as an oncologist more than 30 years ago, News Corp reports.

Opposition health spokesman Walt Secord says the revelations show internal investigations were inadequate and has called for a Special Commission of Inquiry to get to the bottom of the matter. "The response from the Baird government is to cover up and conceal. That must end," Mr Secord said on Friday.
