Mother and young son found after going missing from NSW

A 24-year-old woman and her two-year-old son have been found after going missing since Friday.

The pair was travelling from Penrith in Sydney's west to Cootamundra in southern NSW last week and failed to return home on Sunday as expected.

A search was launched to find the young mother and her child and they were found safe and well in Cootamundra just after 11 o'clock last night.
