Police have concerns for the welfare of Archie Medwin, who is missing from his Bittern home. (Victoria Police)  

Police have concerns for a baby boy missing for more than a week from Bittern, a rural town in coastal Victoria.

Archie Medwin was last seen at his home in Bittern on January 5.

Police believe Archie may be with his mother, Sharee.

She is known to frequent the Seaford, Frankston, Hastings and Carrum Downs areas.

Archie is described as having a fair complexion, blue eyes and light-coloured hair.
