Fearless Aussie tradie wrangles massive brown snake
Mates have filmed a NSW tradie pulling off the most Australian snake capture possible, wrangling a deadly eastern brown using only a broom, a metal pole and his bare hands.
In the video uploaded yesterday, the reptile – considered to be the world's second-most venomous land snake – writhes and thrashes after it's pinned to the floor under a broom in a workshop at Milton Downs, a homestead in northwest Sydney.
Despite the snake's anger, its captor – identified only as Rob in the video – appears fearless as he crouches down over the poisonous serpent and reaches to grab hold of its head.
Behind the camera and several paces back, his friends can be heard laughing nervously and providing colourful commentary to the hissing capture.
"It could kill you bro," a man is overheard saying in the background.
"F--- yeah," Rob casually replies.
The clip was uploaded to YouTube yesterday by Jamie Allsopp.
