Driver killed as car slams into unit block
There has been a deadly crash in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The Nissan Skyline hit the wall of a unit block on Royal Street in Tuart Hill this afternoon.
The driver of the car was tended to by locals who heard the crash, but he died at the scene.

One passenger managed to escape the wreckage and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
His condition is not yet known but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
“I heard the screeching tyres and the speeding car coming up, and I thought, ‘if this doesn’t end in some fatality, I don’t know…’,” one witness told 9NEWS.
Major crash investigators will attend the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
