Sheep farmer's creative tribute to his aunt after being unable to attend her funeral

Using some grain, a drone, and dozens of sheep, a NSW farmer has paid tribute to his aunt in a very special way.

Ben Jackson from Guyra, on the Northern Tablelands, was unable to travel to his aunt's funeral in Brisbane due to border closures.

So instead he created an enormous heart-shaped formation of sheep and filmed the spectacle on a drone.

"I just hope when I did it she poked her head through the clouds ad had a bit of a peep," Mr Jackson told 9News.

The video was played at his aunt's farewell.

The song Ben chose, Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge over Troubled Waters', was one of her favourites.
