Police searching for missing Sydney teenager

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from Fairfield.

Sara Aljabiri, aged 17, was last seen in her bedroom at a home in Solo Crescent, Fairfield, in the late evening on Sunday.

A member of her family noticed her disappearance about 2am today and reported it to police.

There are concerns for her welfare as Sara suffers from a medical condition.

Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command have commenced an investigation and are appealing for the community’s help.

Sara is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance and about 175cm tall.

She was last wearing a tracksuit and a hijab with a khaki-coloured jacket.
