G20 SUMMIT IN A NUTSHELL

* G20 leaders meet November 15-16 in Antalya, Turkey.

* MEMBERS: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, US and EU.

* G20 represents 85 per cent of the world's economy

75 per cent of world trade

65 per cent of world population.

* As well as boosting economic growth, "too-big-to-fail" banks and cracking down on multinational tax evasion, the summit will deal with the Syrian refugee crisis, terrorism and countering violent extremism, energy security and climate change.

* Australia is working on 2014 summit recommendations to strengthen tax law.

* Turkey wants a timetable for delivering the Brisbane G20 target of an extra 2.1 per cent growth by 2018 and a reduction of young employed by 15 per cent by 2025.
