Human remains found in the search for missing Melbourne mother Simone Quinlan will be forensically examined today.
The 33-year-old mother-of-two has not been seen since August 24, when she was spotted at a service station in Melbourne's west.
Police, SES and firefighters yesterday found remains in parkland at Kangaroo Flat, near Bendigo.
A crime scene was established and the site was guarded by police overnight.
Melton men Brendan Neil, Dylan Jez and Wayne Marmo - all aged in their 20s - have been charged with her murder and are due in court again in February.
Ms Quinlan had been living with a male friend and reached out to friends for somewhere to stay in the days before she vanished.
She has not contacted her family or sons, aged five and 12, since August 24.
