Ex-bikie boss says he 'doesn't remember' house being shot up

A former bikie boss, whose cars were torched and house shot up in what prosecutors say was an attempt on his life, claims he doesn't remember the incident.

Axel Sidaros, 25, denies any involvement and has pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder, arson and causing actual bodily harm over an attack on a home in Canberra's south in June 2018.

The then-resident of the property, former Commanchero ACT Chapter Commander Peter Zdravkovic, allegedly lost a finger while shooting back at attackers through the back door of the property.

But when prosecutors today asked Mr Zdravkovic what happened to his hand he said "someone told me a dog bit it off".

CCTV footage shown to the jury shows three men with their faces obscured creeping onto the property before firing shots into the house.

Having just got out the shower, prosecutors say a still-naked Mr Zdravkovic retrieved a gun from his ceiling space and began shooting back.

A fourth man can be seen helping to pour a liquid over cars in the carport before setting them alight.

Mr Zdravkovic parent's house - on the same street - was also shot at.

Prosecutors allege the attack was an escalation of an ongoing feud between rival gang members, after Mr Zdravkovic left the outlaw motorcycle club.

Mr Zdravkovic admits he was once a Comanchero member but denies any knowledge of a feud and claims he doesn't remember the incident at his home or making statements to police.

A police officer who attended the scene told the court Mr Zdravkovic told them that he'd fired back at the attackers and chased them from the property.

The trial continues.
