Environ minister gets Brown thumbs down

Conservationist Bob Brown has described incoming environment minister Josh Frydenberg as the greater of two evils when compared to predecessor Greg Hunt.
Monday's ministerial reshuffle resulted in Mr Frydenberg's unexpected appointment to the often controversial and sensitive portfolio and the Tasmanian-based former Australian Greens leader was quick to respond.
"He has all the credentials to even greater success in burying the nation's environmental hopes and aspirations," Dr Brown said of the new minister.
