Light plane with mechanical issues lands safely at Archerfield Airport, in Brisbane's south

A light plane with landing gear problems that temporarily left it unable to deploy its wheels has made a safe landing at Archerfield Airport.
Queensland police and emergency services were called to the scene, but shortly afterwards the plane was able to deploy the wheels and landed safely.
A Queensland Ambulance tweet said that the two occupants of the plane had been assessed at the scene and were unharmed.

The airport is located 11km south of the Brisbane CBD.
