Emergency bushfire warning issued for St Helier and The Gurdies, in Victoria's South Gippsland region

An emergency bushfire warning has been issued for residents in St Helier and The Gurdies, in Victoria’s South Gippsland region.

The Country Fire Authority has warned there is a fast moving, out-of-control fire travelling in a southerly direction from The Gurdies Winery towards Stewart Road.

Residents are advised leaving now is the safest option. Homes could be impacted any time in the next two hours.
