Elderly woman bashed in Brunswick toilet block robbery

A 70-year-old woman was throttled, bashed and kicked during a vicious robbery in a Melbourne toilet block last week.
Police are searching for two men in relation to the vicious attack in the early hours of November 21, in a secluded car park toilet block on Grantham Street in Brunswick.
It’s believed the woman is a cleaner and was working at the time.
The Avondale Heights woman was strangled by one man as he demanded her mobile phone and money.
She was brought to the ground by the pair who kicked and punched her when she refused.
She suffered swelling, bruising and a laceration to her face that required treatment.
The men stole four rings – including her wedding ring and 50-year anniversary ring - three bracelets and a gold necklace before fleeing the scene.
One man is described as having a moustache and wearing a black hooded jumper.
