Elderly NSW woman found 'shot dead'

The body of a 76-year-old woman has been found on a property near Mudgee following a suspected shooting murder.

She was found at Olinda on Friday night, and while NSW detectives were investigating whether her death was domestic-violence related they also discovered the body of a man, 76, at Lue, southeast of Mudgee.

Police say the man was known to the woman.
