UPDATE: Elderly man lifted to safety after being trapped on rocks

A man has been winched to safety after falling and becoming trapped on a rocky shore in Sydney's north.
Paramedics were dropped in to the Grotto Point site at about 3pm, after the elderly man fell.
A CareFlight helicopter airlifted the man from the rocks about 3.30pm.
