Elderely man bashed in Qld business raid

An elderly caretaker has been bashed with a metal bar after four people broke into a Brisbane business.

The 75-year-old man was working at a storage shed business at Underwood when two men and two women forced their way inside on Monday night.

"One of the men struck the occupant with a metal bar and demanded cash from the business. The group, who were all wearing balaclavas, left the location after stealing the man's wallet," police said.

The man suffered injuries to both his wrists.

Police are still searching for his attackers.
