Eighth person charged over Sydney fatal house party brawl
An eighth person has been charged in relation to the death of a teenager at an out-of-control house party in Sydney's south-west last year.
The 26-year-old man was arrested yesterday and charged with concealing a serious offence and as an accessory after the fact to murder.
He was refused bail and is expected to appear via videolink at Campbelltown Local Court today.
Alex Ioane, 18, died in hospital after he was found outside a home on Chester Road, Ingleburn, with serious head injuries on May 24, 2019.
A brawl is believed to have spilled onto the street from the party at a home on Chester Road, with crowds dispersing following the arrival of police.

At the time, police said Mr Ioane was standing nearby when he was allegedly kicked in the head in a "karate-style kick" causing him to fall to the ground.
Police said the victim was not involved in the fight when he was allegedly attacked.
A baseball bat and golf club, along with wooden and metal poles were seized for forensic examination.
Four men - one then aged 17, two aged 18 and a 19-year-old - have been charged with murder over the incident.
A 27-year-old woman was charged with concealing a serious indictable offence and being an accessory after the fact to murder while two girls - aged 15 and 19 - have also been charged with concealing a serious offence.
All remain before the courts while investigations are ongoing.
