Eden-Monaro by-election set for July 4
Voters living in the federal seat of Eden-Monaro will head to the polls on July 4.
Speaker Tony Smith will issue the writ for the date on Thursday, with the close of nominations set for June 9.

Fiona Kotvojs is the Liberal candidate for the seat while former Bega mayor Kristy McBain is Labor's pick for the southern NSW electorate.
The by-election was triggered after Labor MP Mike Kelly retired from parliament for health reasons.
The electorate covers 41,617 sq km in southeast NSW surrounding the ACT. Major centres are Queanbeyan, Merimbula, Narooma, Bermagui, Bega, Eden, Cooma, Yass, Batlow and Tumut.
