Ed Sheeran teases new music with Snapchat filter

UK musician Ed Sheeran has given fans a tease of his soon-to-be released music via a Snapchat filter.

Sheeran first posted a video to Instagram on Monday, announcing he was releasing new music at 5am today UK time.

In further Instagram videos, he teased fans with a possible album cover, lyrics and melodies.

“When I was six, I broke my leg,” one of the videos reads.

“The club isn’t the best place to find a lover,” another video teases.

Sheeran also released a Snapchat filter containing about 30 seconds of audio of a new song, while the filter itself featured blue sunglasses and twirling lights.

He has not clarified whether the release will be of a track or entire album.

The release follows Sheeran taking a year-long break from social media.
