Eagles coach Adam Simpson rushes home to be with sick daughter

West Coast Eagles coach Adam Simpson will miss today’s clash with the Bulldogs, rushing home to Perth to be with his sick daughter.

According to a club statement, the 42-year-old’s youngest daughter fell ill over the weekend and was hospitalised last night.

He’s decided to miss the Etihad Stadium clash to be at her bedside.

West Coast forwards coach Jaymie Graham will now coach the team against the Western Bulldogs.

Graham has been an assistant coach at the club since 2014 and played 37 games for the team between 2005 and 2008.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the club says its thoughts are with the Simpson family.
